Although the Amazon.com web site states that this particular lamp "usually ships within 2-3 weeks of ordering," I waited for close to a month for shipment of this item. I did receive an email notifying me of the delay. However, the delayed ship date came and went without any notification that the item was on its way. I used the Amazon.com customer service interface to email the vendor and inquire about how much longer the delay would be. Later that same day, I received a generic email from Amazon.com that my order had been unceremoniously canceled. There was no explanation in the message about why nor was there any additional, "Hey, we're sorry" from the vendor.
I'm very disappointed with this experience.
