Have had several outdoor 'weatherproof' timers and some either didn't work at all or conked out in a rain or in most cases were too complicated to set for simple on and off operation.This one just plain works.Has a photocell to automatically turn lights on at dusk and you just program the number of hours you want it to stay on.Have had it running for two months and it is great.Set it and forget it.Inexpensive too.
