The light worked fine for a while. However, this morning, the 'Simple Reactance Ballast' that powed the lamp burned itself up. Luckily, it tripped the breaker, and did not start a fire. It smoked the outside of the ballast. The external ballast is Cat, No. HB-18P-2. So far, I don't see it for sale anywhere.
