I thought that the lamp itself is really nice. It is sturdy enough that it won't get knocked over by the kids.The shade was really nice when we got it, but within 2 weeks the metal pieces started to come apart.And, when the metal pulled itself apart, it started to unravel the cloth at the top.When I called about it, Amazon gave me a credit of $20 to buy a new one, but they could not give me an exact replacement.I haven't had the time to look for a new shade, which is going to be nerve racking, so it is still on the lamp.
