Straight out of the 50's and 6o's, this heavy duty, well-made lamp speaks contemporary and traditional languages with ease. My only concern at first was that the arms of the lamp were stiff and pointed ceiling-ward. With time, though, tension in the arms has relaxed and the arms highlight contemporary paintings.
