We were looking forward to getting this lamp, but were VERY DISAPPOINTED!The lamp was (a) difficult to assemble correctly (no instructions were included); (b) very unstable when it was properly assembled; and (c) VERY, VERY cheap looking.We set it up and checked it out for about 1 hour before putting it back in the box and returning it.Cheap looking, feeling, and operating.Joints did not fit flush together, and the switch had a tendency to "spin".I would NOT recommend this item to any one for any purpose!
