Adesso Atlas Floor Lamp, Satin Steel Review

My beautiful floor lamp came yesterday! It is really a great lamp, just what I wanted when I started looking. It is better looking than the picture. I had read other reviews that complained about the on/off switch being on the floor but I think the on/off switch is designed to be on a low table next to a chair or couch; otherwise why else would there be so mu cord before and after the switch?Assembly was easy, the hard part was rearranging my living room furniture. My only complaint is the instructions but they have nothing to do with the overall quality of the lamp.Here is my advice: assemble in an area near where it will end up (it is a very heavy base) but where you have about 3 open feet ( i..e 360 degrees around your workspace). The top part comes as a unit and screws into the base-you will need space for the top to swivel. So anyhow, lots of lamp for the price and I would recommend it to anyone without qualification.
