The floor lamp was as expected. It was packed well and arrived here unbroken. It was a gift for my parents and they loved it!
The look of the lamp is nice and the shade seems to be of good quality, but the base of the lamp is not even as strong as tin. It came dented up. I put this on a gift registry so I didn't pay for it, but if I had I would have been really disappointed. I'd say it's worth about $20, $40 tops. I'd recommend Ikea or Marshall's if you have them.
I should also have read the reviews.The pole does not support the arm and shade, so the lamp leans over.It looks terrible.Am returning it immediately.

Lamps are a great deal for the price. Floorlamp is shorter than expected but still looks nice.
I have to start by saying that I do really like the look and styling of this lamp.However, there are a few critical flaws that make it way over-priced.It assembles easily and has a nice modern, clean look.I ordered the WARM light but it is not warm (It looks like light in a hospital operating room.Maybe their idea of warm is not the same as mine!)and it is not powerful enough.I expected, with the 4, not 5, options for lighting intensity (I guess the 5th intensity is 'off.') that it would be bright enough to light my bedroom.But, even though the lights are LED, they are not bright even at the highest setting.A lesser problem, but still a flaw, is that the connection for the plug is 3" up the leg.Why is the connection not on the base or better, under the base?For such a modern lamp, they could have put the connection, in an out-of-the-way place, instead of a very visible place.At the end of the day, I will keep the lamp, but I will not be ordering a 2nd one, or a table-top one, unless the price goes to about $80, which would be a fare price for this lamp.
I hope I don't get sued by the temptations!This really does look like sunlight.
For a company that touts its large factory in SC to discover the lamp was made in China was a surprise.
Not available in local stores. Pleased to find it on Amazon and at a reasonable price. Functions just fine.
I paid only about half of the price for this Natural Light Floor Lamp 27Watt in comparision with the other brands with lower 18 watts or 24 watts, but it works great and good brightness for reading.I used to have a Verilux light (about $[...])before, then broken about 2 years,. Now I am happy to have a lower cost repalcement. Good deal

Lamp was manufactured in China but is nevertheless top quality.Fast ship from Lamps Plus.Well packaged.Easy assembly.Lamp looks great, is heavy enough so as not to topple, shade is nice pleasing color.I couldn't be more satisfied.Ordering through Amazon was as smooth as it gets.
This lamp looks attractive in my office, but is lacking the quality I expected for such an expensive item.The one thing that annoys me is the connection lines made when screwing the stands together.Even though shipping would be more costly I believe they should have made them a single piece instead of 3 separate poles.I also had to bend each stand in order for them to stand straight up.Some kind of support link between the stands at the top would made this a much more sturdy lamp.
This is a very elegant floor lamp for a Victorian style room.I thought it had a pink cast when I ordered it, but it is off-white. Nevertheless, if you put pink bulbs in it (it takes 3 bulbs) it gives off a very nice soft light, and is a classy addition to anyone's front room.
The lamp was fine--when it worked.I used it next to my sewing table.I only used it a few times, and right from the beginning, it began to turn off unexpectedly.This really helps while you are trying to thread a needle!Finally, it stopped working at all.I took out the bulb and spent nearly $20 on a replacement.It failed to work with the new bulb.I took it to a friend who is adept in repairing these things.He said the ballast/transformer in the base needed to be replaced. We could not find one anywhere.So, in the great modern American tradition, into the trash it goes.I will never buy another Bell + Howell product.
The lamp is ok.The shade is a bit short and tends to shine on the everyone in the room not just the person using it. The color is just wrong.it's a dull mustard color not bronze at all.
This light works great and is very bright and the light is good and full spectrum.My real test is to see if it lasts a long time - I hope that is what I am getting by paying over $100, a quality product; I've had many torchiere lights that stop working after a year or two, I hope this one does not fit that pattern.
The lamp is as described and works fine.The bowl is plastic and I thought it would be glass -- but other than that, I am pleased with this product.I would buy this lamp again and use this vendor again.
I like this type of timer.You can set individual days (although the tabs are tiny) and you can't lose the tabs like some older models because they are built in.
This is a well made and well designed lamp. It is aesthetically pleasing. It is very large, a fact that I had not fully comprehended when I read the product description.Luckily we have a loft so it actually works very well but if you have a small apt or other living space, be aware that the arc spans out quite a ways.The product is made of good quality materials and looks like it will last a while.
Watch out for these... the lampshades on these are really fragile. Taking them out of the box alone made little dents that I thought were no big deal at first, but when you turn the lamps on, they show up as dark spots. Not good. But they look exactly as they do in the picture, and give a nice contemporary look for a low price.
The lamp is OK. On the plus side, it was only $39.99 at a Target store, and it provides an excellent, well-diffused source of light that's not harsh like most torchiere-style lamps.Now for the drawbacks: it's flimsy, the touch-activated switch is annoying as hell, and up close, it's obvious that the lampshade is plastic.I found a similar lamp with genuine mica for the shade for about $100, which I would have preferred.This lamp is only a bargain if you can resist the urge to replace it after 3 months with something that doesn't look fake.
The lamp looks nice, but one of the halogen bulbs was dead on arrival and needed to be replaced.To replace a bulb, you must remove a "spring ring" that is holding a protective glass cover over the bulb.This spring is very hard to remove, making lamp replacement a major headache.
This is a gorgeous lamp and a real bargain, but I was disappointed that the faux agate marble accents are MUCH darker than depicted. There's not much contrast at all between the urn/base faux marble and the rest of the stand. It's all very dark. (In my case, however, I do have a lamp in the same room with similar colors so it works.) Just be aware that there may be an extreme color variation when you order this lamp.
The lamp looks very cool and modern and the spectrum of the light is very pleasing, but it is so dim that it is not useful for me. The low setting also flickers noticeably, but since the bright setting is already too dim, why use the low setting? One other thing that I wish they had done better: the switch is difficult to work from below.

The base came intact, but the lamp shade came in a separate box that wasn't very sturdy. As a result, the shade was smashed and creased. since the base of the shade is plastic, it was damaged beyond repair.
This is a floor lamp??!!(perhaps for a 3 year old...read the dimensions which I did not thinking a floor lamp would be for reading especially since it claims to be a full spectrm lamp.It does not fit on a table & on the floor it looks ridiculious.It claim to have a full spectrum light which it did not include( it must be 20 watt full spectrum which stores only carry 27 watt so one must order from the lamp company) & it claim to have a floor off & on switch which it does not!!This is the first product I have EVER been disappointed in from Amazon...I make a point to mainly order from them directly & not from other companies they represent because I think they have great quality control...this one got pass them!! I previously had bought a set of Uttermost lamps and liked them very much, so when I could use another pair, I looked them up on the net.The lamps that I ordered from Amazon were also very good quality, very solid, nice design.The size was just right and they nicely helped to coordinate the bedroom.
I ordered this and I love it! It is beautiful, very well-made and came extremely well-packaged. You will not regret buying this lamp. I bought two and was so happy!
We purchased this lamp to use as a work light for doing crafts, reading, etc.Its main virtues are that it has halogen bulbs that can be oriented and the brightness can be adjusted.The lamp is very elegant and made of good materials.It came in a large box but needed to be assembled.We never could find the instructions but eventually figured out how to assemble it.The one problem was that where the top part fit into the main stand we should have placed a large screw; however, the hole was misshaped so we could not insert the screw.This does not affect the function of the lamp as long as you are not in the habit of carrying it around by the top.If you do the bottom might fall off.Overall, this lamp seems to be a good value.Especially when compared to the really junky lamps out there.
I bought this lamp to have a well lit surface to do my needle work and other hobby craft . It gives out good light and is easy to assemble.I am happy with my purchase to that end. Also, it is esthetically appealing and I have received many a compliments on it. I have knocked off one star for this product because I was hoping the up-down swivel mechanism to be more user friendly . Currently , it has a screw at the intersection of the horizontal and vertical arms that needs to be unscrewed , the vertical bar needs to be adjusted for orientation and then tighten the screw .This is a bit cumbersome when you are holding your needlepoint and want to adjust the light simultaneously. Overall, 8/10 for this product.
I've never bothered to review an item on Amazon, but made an exception for this one.The lamp looks great in their photo, yet when it arrived it was clear immediately that it was a poor choice.The packaging styrofoam was actually so old or badly stored that it had degraded into a white paste that we had to wash off the lamp's frame and cord.More importantly, though, the paper lanterns do not hang straight at the top or bottom; you can even see the glue at points.It makes the lamp look really cheap, worse than the $25 ones I use to have in college.We know this is not an expensive lamp, but it's also not super cheap and we have another paper lamp for the same price that looks fantastic.This one is just made badly.Do not buy this.You will be disappointed.
This can light is made well and has a cord just long enough for my needs. If I have a complaint, its that it is a little bigger than I expected. The quality can't be beat though.
This table is a very nice inexpensive piece of furniture.It is easy to assemble and the the lighting inside the table is soft and lovely for atmosphere lighting in a bedroom.It also arrived quickly and in good condition.My specific table is black and looks great in my bedroom.The finish is off medium quality, but it's pretty rugged for the money.
I really like this lamp. It's very stylish and it fits perfectly with my decor.
I thought this was a great fan, but I had to send it back because it didn't match my decor. The fan is much darker than pictured.
Okay, so you get what you pay for.The lamp works, the shade is acceptable, although cheaply made (the seam is very noticeable), and the base is ugly as a red-headed step child.Not even close to being the color of teak...sort of a muddy espresso brown.
I purchased this set of lamps months ago. They look nice and so far, they've done well.
Looks great provides plenty of light.
The Shades are plastic not glass and the color is electric blue not aqua. It looks every cheap!!!! I live in Mexico so returning it is not an option. Big waste of money!
Great lamp. Looks just like the Arco lamps that are $2,000+ The first one did not work. Customer service were great, tried to get it working for us, then shipped out a new piece for the piece that did not work. They sent me a label and arranged for the defective piece to be picked up from my door. Very easy and fast. They said it is very rare that a lamp does not work. Now it looks great and works well. Super simple to install. one screw to get it standing, and two screws to adjust height and reach. Love it.
I am very happy with these lamps.The large lamp is a 3-way and the 2 small lamps are not.I would have preferred the larger of the table lamps to take a 3 way bulb.The quality is very high for the price of these 3 lamps.
Fraudulent! Stay away!! Many people have sent money and get no response. People have been waiting several months with nothing! I almost ordered from them until I found posts on several sites! That coupon changes all of the time!
I first bought the table lamp version of this to replace a lamp that broke. This gives a softer light and still stands nicely as a gleaming steel lamp. My living room is not wildly modern but it has steel appointments -- drapery rods, fireplace screen and now two very nice lamps that cast more than sufficient light. It compliments the brick on my fireplace and the large (3 ft by 4 ft) steel sculpture hanging above the mantle.
As I was researching this lamp online, I found this bit of background on its creation. Odd that the designer is never mentioned by name, but interesting nonetheless:

These lamps with the Ott-lites are wonderful.This lamp has a very heavy base so it is very stable.The glass shade has a lovely design which does not show up well on-line.I don't know how I could read or do needlepoint without this light.It does not get hot and is like natural light.
Nice materials and it looks as good as the photo. It was easy to put together, but imo, you really need two people do this given the size and shape. We've had the lamp for several months and so far everything has be working great including the dimmer. It fits perfectly behind our corner sectonal sofa and we love the way it looks. Everyone that's seen it has been very impressed with the design and quality. I would recommend this lamp to anyone.
