Spiral Hanging Floor Lamp Review

A very nice lamp at an economical price. Would suit as an accent rather than a reading lamp. With a bright bulb the bulb is very visible as the material is quite sheer, but still a very nice look.
The gold accents on the base are a bit much for me, but where it is located in the home the base is not really on display.
Overall I am happy with the purchase of the product and its performance.

Mother Daughter Floor Lamp Review

A large and solid lamp with ample glass shades and good light diffusion through the shades. I wasn't too crazy about the design on the base of the lamp (a kind of petal ornament), and for some reason, the very last end of the wire near the top of the lamp could not be pulled through the entire tubular stand, as the rest of the cord had been, so we had to bunch that part of it into the top section of the stand. Nevertheless, despite these objections, the lamp is quite beautiful and useful.

Globe 6860501 Floor and Table Lamp, Dark Wood Finish, 4 Pack Combo Review

I like the look of these lamps, though the color of the shades is not white or off white as it appears to be on the computer, but rather a tan color. That was a little disappointing to me, but they still look nice and will still work with my decor. They were fast and easy to assemble and add a nice touch to the living room.
My biggest dissappointment was to find out that one of the table lamps was cracked through the middle and has a chip out of one corner on the base. I looked into returning just the broken lamp, but because it was sold as a combo lamp pack you have to send the whole thing back which means repackaging everything. That proves to be more trouble than it is worth. If you've ever tried refolding and repackaging a couch slip cover so it will fit back in its tiny, little bag you know the kind of trouble I'm talking about. Or if you've taken apart a power tool and spent the rest of the day trying to put it back together properly you get the picture. Since the lamp does have a decent solid center inside the broken exterior and the electrical parts still work, I decided to try and fix it myself. Bondo and brown paint. Once it is fixed i will be pleased with the set. My advice to any purchasers of this product would be to try and examine the lamps as much as possible before removing them from their plastic bags and foam cradles so that if you find damage you can more easily return the whole kit.

Room Essentials® 5-Head Floor Lamp - Blue Review

I just got the pink version of this lamp last night and set it up. It was packaged securely in its box. It assembled easily without any tools being needed. Everything just screws together by hand.

One of the coolest things about this lamp that is unadvertised is how the switch works. It has three positions. Click it once and all five lights come on. Click it again and three go off, leaving two lights on. Click it again and the two lights go off and the other 3 come on. One more click and everything's off. It's a nice alternative to a dimmer switch.

You can put the colored shades on the lamp in any positions you want. They easily are removed but are securely fastened with a nut when in position.

Since there are five bulbs the shadows are softer.

The cord on this lamp is a little short. I didn't measure but I think it's around three or four feet long. The cord is white.

This product is listed as being five feet tall, which it appears to be. When I first saw it together I thought it looked a little short, not that it was shorter than five feet, but just that I didn't realize five feet was that short. I expected this to reach more to the ceiling which it does not. Still, once I got it together and turned on I think it's beautiful and I'm completely satisfied with how it lights up my room. I have it beside my bed with most of the lights pointing up but one pointing down as a reading lamp, which works quite nicely.

You won't be disappointed!

Ore International 5 Arm Arch Floor Lamp - Black Review

I purchased this lamp to replace a similar styled but smaller lamp behind my sectional sofa.The old lamp was the type that screwed together in several sections and tended to fall over as the threads were stripping out.I mention this because this lamp consisted of three pieces - the base, the bottom section, and the top section.The lamp assembled securely and I am confident that this will last - unlike the other reviewer I did not have any issue with the spot welds and do not recollect them at all (The lamp is behind the couch - I don't look at the base much).

The biggest complaint that I have with this lamp is that it does not use traditional light bulbs, so I cannot put in the CFL bulbs that I removed from the old lamp.This lamp uses the smaller base bulbs (I don't know what they are called) and does come with all five bulbs.When I first put the lamp together I was concerned that the 5 40-watt bulbs would not put out adequate light, but I am pleased to say that the lamp is pretty bright and I usually turn the dimmer-style switch to about half way as it is enough light.

I would certainly purchase this again.

Square Floor Lamp with Paper Shade and Shelves - Black/ Beige Review

We bought 2 of these online and were not sure what to expect, but were just glad they were 1/2 the price of similar 'designer' style lamps at a home decor store.

I'll give the 'bad news' first - they aren't the highest quality - they are made of particle-board type wood, and if you look really closely, the bars don't all line up with the corners of the shelves. But let me say, this is a really minor thing, and unless you look close, you wouldn't think these are low-quality at all.

Now the good news - they are beautiful! They have a cool contemporary look, and add a lot to the room. With the shade, you get a soft glow, so they would make good 'mood lamps'. They are full-height floor lamps, and are much better than we expected for the price. If you can get over that they aren't high-end craftsmanship, you'll be very happy with these lamps.

We bought 2 and were impressed with how nice they were for the under-$80 price range, and we ended up buying a 3rd to use as a nightstand/lamp in a newly-decorated monochromatic bedroom.

I agree with the other reviewer that you have to make sure the shorter bars are at the top, this isn't obvious from the directions. It was easy to assemble, though!

Overall, I highly recommend these lamps, unless you have hundreds to spend and can get a similar one of higher quality from a boutique store.

Normande JS3-729 27W PL Floor Lamp, each, Antique Brass Finish Review

Very good lamp for your money. Comes wih a fluorescent bulb that saves electricity. You can tilt the shade how you want it using the band right next to the shade (the band doesn't heat up at all, so tilting it isn't painful, unlike some cheapo lamps) and adjust the height of the stand. When all the way up it's 51". I use it as a floor lamp next to the computer, often the only light in a dark room at night. It would also be an excellent reading lamp. Also, I like the weight (medium) and look (dull gold color with a nice antique finish, and has the style of an old-fashioned office lamp). It's a quality piece for a budget cost. We've been using it for 2 weeks without a problem and assembly was easy as pie. The only catch is that it's more of an office or study look than a living room look, but it would even work in a modern living room.

Sunlight Floor Lamp 5 Feet - Trademark Home Collection Review

I'm pleased with the lamp. Assembly was straightforward and the cost was reasonable. While the lamp is advertised as 5', it is more like 48 to 52 inches when the lamphead is bent for reading. For someone 5'8" it is quite acceptable.

Trac Tree Lamp Black Review

This was perfect for my use: a directional reading lamp that can also be used to light bookshelves for browsing and brighten up a dark corner. The lamp is sturdy and the base heavy so it doestn't tip easily, but it also can be lifted and moved around when needed. Each lamp housing swivels all the way around so I can direct it anywhere: to focus on a picture on the wall or on the bookshelves.I am using compact fluorescent bulbs in the lamp so the housings stay cool to the touch while I have plenty of light to ready by. Love the lamp.
